“Be Aware For Your Safety”
As an online user, I want to encourage everybody to participate in my campaign, a campaign called “Be Aware For Your Safety” to notify everyone to be aware and be prepared in case of emergency to keep ourselves safe.
Being ready for any disaster is important to surviving and recovering from a disaster. Having an emergency plan and a disaster survival kit will help us through almost every kind of crisis, whether natural or caused by humans.
To prevent the potential loss of life, injury, or destroyed or damaged assets here are some:
Preparedness:
• Know how to evacuate when disaster strikes.
• Find a safe place to stay and check in with your command.
• Gather news for more updates.
• Make an house emergency plans.
• Ready the emergency kits.
• Make an disaster survival kits.
• Always pray.
People must be made aware of what natural hazards they are likely to face in their own communities. They should know in advance what specific preparations to make before an event, what to do during a hurricane, earthquake, flood, fire, or other likely event, and what actions to take in its aftermath.
Ways to Increase Awareness of Preparedness:
• Partner with local community emergency response teams (CERTs).
• Hold a build-an-emergency-kit party.
• Involve the local media in the planning process.
• Host evacuation workshops.
• Provide relevant disaster prrparedness information on your department/agency web site.
